The EAR Switch Protection earplugs are dual mode hearing protection and can be easily adjusted to the wearer's work environment at any time.

The flexibility of these earplugs allows you to choose between two modes - the normal protection mode and an awareness mode. This grants a higher level of situational awareness depending on the volume level and enables problem-free communication with colleagues on the one hand and hearing and early recognition of dangers and warning signals on the other. Switching between modes is easy, even when wearing gloves, and is done via a rocker switch without having to remove the buds from your ears.
A patented ISL* acoustic filter is integrated into the earplugs, which is primarily designed to pass low noise levels for greater situational awareness while protecting against high impulse noise exposure.


Normal mode (SNR: 28dB)
When the rocker with the 3M logo on the switch is pressed inwards, the earplug is in normal protection mode and behaves like conventional hearing protection. This mode offers protection from dangerous noise and allows you to concentrate on the work at hand.

Awareness Mode (SNR: 16dB)
If the rocker with the CAE logo is pressed inwards, the mindfulness mode is activated. This mode allows for greater situational awareness, so you can communicate with colleagues and hear potential dangers and warning signals, e.g. B. reversing vehicles.

Each pack of EAR Switch Protection earplugs contains a pair of pre-assembled medium earplugs and an additional pair of each small, medium and large eartips. This allows the wearer to quickly and efficiently select the best possible fit for them. The patented holder also ensures that the earplugs are securely in place at work.
